Japan BCG Group Privacy Policy

Japan BCG Laboratory and its group companies (hereinafter, referred to as the Japan BCG Group) recognize that it is a corporate responsibility to protect personal information in their business activities, and make efforts to protect personal information by establishing the following policy.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The BCG Group will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003) and various laws and guidelines when handling personal information.

2. Collection, Use and Provision of Personal Information

In collecting and using personal information, the BCG Group will identify the purpose within the scope necessary for its business and will use legitimate and fair means. In addition, measures will be taken to ensure that no unintended use is made. In order to ensure the smooth performance of our business, we may disclose or provide such information to third parties as outsourcing or joint use within the scope of our purpose. We will not disclose or provide information to any third party without the consent of the person concerned, except as required by the laws and regulations above.

3. Security Management of Personal Information

In order to protect personal information, the BCG Group will take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification and leakage of personal information, and implement corrective and preventive measures. If the information is disclosed or provided to a third party for the purpose of outsourcing or joint use, appropriate management and supervision will be conducted.

4. Review and improvement of handling of personal information

We will continuously review our systems and mechanisms for the protection of personal information to ensure that they function effectively.

5. Requests and complaints regarding the handling of personal information

The BCG Group will strive to respond in good faith and promptly to requests and complaints concerning personal information.
